Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal quality systems, including
ISO 9001.
The Quality Control Inspector will utilize various precision measuring instruments and data collection techniques to conduct thorough inspections and analyses. Responsibilities Responsible for visual and dimensional inspection of machined, molded products in support of the production line. Primary responsibilities include generation of AS9102 First Articles. Experience with the development of major aerospace products and/or processes utilizing planning, engineering drawings, and specifications with complex elastomeric components to meet quality performance requirements. Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions. Conduct vision inspections and utilize quality audit techniques to identify defects or non-conformance. Maintain accurate records of inspections, data collection, and analysis results in accordance with
ISO 9001
standards. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality management systems and procedures. Support training initiatives related to quality control practices within the organization. Requirements Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on inspection results. Proficient in using various precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines. Knowledge of quality systems and methodologies including QA/QC practices and quality audits. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while effectively communicating findings and recommendations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
