Job Description:

MEP QA/QC

Data Center Inspector to join one of our larger clients in the Northern Virginia Market. This is 5 days a week onsite and candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with GC and subcontractors to implement comprehensive construction plans for data center projects. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection. Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Track project schedule and resources to meet key milestones and deliverables. Track coordination of procurement of materials and equipment, overseeing vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Provide technical support and leadership to construction teams throughout all phases of the project.

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center construction project management. Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including design principles, installation methods, and industry best practices. Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam and Client Office. Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and third-party consultants. In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to data center construction.
