Job Site Inspector / Installation Quality Control Wholesale Cabinet Company | Full-Time We are looking for a detail-oriented Job Site Inspector / Installation Quality Control Representative to oversee cabinet projects from the job-site preparation stage through completion. This position is responsible for making sure our installations are done correctly, our installers are following the approved plans, and problems are identified and addressed before the customer sees them.
Responsibilities Before Installation:
Visit job sites before cabinets are delivered or installation begins Verify field conditions against approved cabinet plans and layouts Check measurements, walls, openings, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and other potential conflicts Confirm the job site is ready for installation Identify problems before cabinets and installers arrive Take detailed photos and document site conditions
During Installation:
Visit job sites to inspect installation progress Inspect installers' work for accuracy, quality, and workmanship Verify cabinets are being installed according to the approved plans Check cabinet locations, elevations, spacing, fillers, panels, moldings, and hardware Identify installation issues and communicate corrections to installers Make sure damaged or incorrect materials are identified and documented Keep projects moving and prevent small problems from becoming expensive callbacks
After Installation:
Perform final quality-control inspections Check completed installations against the approved plans Inspect doors, drawers, reveals, panels, fillers, moldings, and hardware Identify unfinished or incorrect work Document punch-list items with photos Follow up with installers to make sure corrections are completed Approve jobs for completion when they meet company standards Help reduce customer complaints, callbacks, and warranty issues Qualifications
  • Cabinet installation, construction, remodeling, or related experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to read cabinet plans and construction drawings
  • Strong understanding of cabinet installation and residential construction
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable inspecting and holding installers accountable for their work
  • Able to work independently and make decisions in the field
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Smartphone for photos, documentation, and communication What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who knows what a good cabinet installation should look like and isn't afraid to speak up when it isn't right.
You will be the company's eyes and ears in the field. Your job is to catch mistakes, enforce quality standards, and make sure the job is right before we consider it complete. This is not simply a "check the boxes" position. We need someone who takes ownership of each project and understands that preventing a callback is far better than fixing one after the customer complains. Competitive pay based on experience.
