Opportunity:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure manufactured products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions Identify nonconforming material and initiate NCRs as needed Communicate quality issues to production and leadership teams Support root cause analysis and corrective actions Recommend process improvements to reduce defects and variation Perform random audits to verify process compliance Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S standards.
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
What Sets You Apart:
Experience in metal fabrication, HVAC, or heat exchanger manufacturing Experience working under ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems Experience with NCR documentation and root cause analysis Basic computer/data entry experience (Excel, ERP systems) Familiarity with QC processes and documentation Proficiency using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes Ability to document inspection results and communicate findings effectively Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and in a team environment Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals. Knowledge of basic math and computer skills Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations. Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality Verbal and written communication skills Dexterity, physical strength, and physical stamina Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
