Job Description
About the Role As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of precision and excellence for our manufactured components. You will utilize advanced metrology tools, including CMM and laser scanning, to ensure every product meets rigorous engineering specifications and customer requirements. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive inspections of incoming materials and finished goods to verify strict adherence to design blueprints and quality standards. Leverage CMM technology with PC-DMIS and FARO Arm systems with PolyWorks to perform precise dimensional analysis. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to evaluate complex parts and identify potential manufacturing deviations. Generate detailed First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and maintain accurate quality documentation to support continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions. Ensure all precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and height gauges, are calibrated and ready for accurate data collection. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience in precision metal manufacturing quality control. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints. Hands-on experience with CMM programming and manual inspection tools. Solid understanding and application of GD&T standards. Preferred Skills Experience with AS9100 or
