Full-Time Job Overview We are looking for a Quality Control Technician II to support our Quality Assurance team in a food manufacturing environment. This position will perform quality inspections, sample collection, documentation, food safety checks, and support corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, food processing, restaurants, sanitation, or quality control . Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections during production. Monitor employee hygiene and compliance with GMP and food safety standards . Collect samples for laboratory and sensory testing. Perform and document equipment calibrations. Identify and investigate quality issues and non-conformities. Work with USDA and regulatory inspectors as needed. Assist with training production and QA employees on food safety and quality procedures. Support quality improvement projects and special inspections. Maintain accurate quality records and documentation. Communicate quality concerns to Production and QA teams. Requirements 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing, food processing, restaurants, sanitation, or a related environment. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office . Strong communication and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality control . Experience with quality inspections, sampling, testing, or equipment calibration. Experience in a food manufacturing or processing facility. Experience working with USDA or food safety inspectors . Sous vide food production experience is a plus. Work Environment This is an onsite position in a food manufacturing facility . The employee must be comfortable working around production operations and following strict food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and quality requirements.
