Billsburg Brewery was born from our love of traditional lagers, pilsners and ales and our desire to create a space where family, friends, and the community as a whole could gather together and make great memories. Our brewery is nestled on a 10-acre marina with breathtaking views on the water, just off the Colonial Parkway, and mere miles from America's original brewery. We work hard to craft our favorite beers and we're excited to offer our patrons lagers, pilsners, and ales reminiscent of America's rich brewing history.

If so, we are looking for candidates with extensive knowledge of craft beer, previous experience bartending and/or serving at craft beer establishments is not a MUST but will be given extra consideration. • On the job duties: Serving beer to customers Provide excellent customer service Operating a point-of-sale device and managing a cash register Change kegs when required Pick up empty glasses from tables and outside the tasting room Wipe down tables and bar top Restock beverages and snacks when needed Maintain clean towels behind the bar (wiping down glasses, bar top, etc.) Clean & stock bathroom supplies Sweeping and mopping taproom floors Follow Opening and Closing procedures as specified by management

Requirements:

Knowledge about beer and serving beer Available to work specified hours Hospitable, outgoing, positive attitude Excellent sales and communication skills Be able to develop customer relationships and provide outstanding customer service Detail-oriented, organized and can multitask Honest & reliable Professional with a disciplined work ethic Ability to work long hours, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry and stoop frequently Ability to lift 30+ lbs, clean draft lines, and change kegs Maintain a clean bar environment Ability to work well with others and be part of a small team Friendly personality and polished demeanor Age 21+

$17.00 - $50.00 per hour
