They are eager to grow and share their beer knowledge while showcasing our company's purpose and mission. This role is a key contributor to our guest-first culture, delivering the finest beer, food, and most importantly, the kind of hospitality that sets Lawson's Finest Liquids apart. This position reports to the Taproom Operations Lead and plays a vital role in maintaining the heartbeat of our Taproom's hospitality culture. Your Role in the
Guest Journey:
Welcome our guest with enthusiasm, offering a friendly greeting and authentic eye contact to set the tone for a unique and memorable experience. Provide thoughtful, engaging, and knowledgeable service, offering guidance on beer and food selections with a desire to delight and educate our guests. Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that invites guests to relax, connect, and return—not just for the beer and food, but for how we made them feel. Spark connection through conversation—share the Lawson's Finest Liquids story, ask meaningful questions, and listen with intention to understand each guest's needs. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, taking pride in maintaining an inviting environment where the details reflect our care and commitment to excellence. Support fellow team members with kindness and collaboration, jumping in to help when needed and celebrating one another's wins. Manage transactions efficiently and with a smile, ensuring the checkout feels like a send-off from a friend, not a cashier. Anticipate guest needs before they arise—engage, personalize, and create moments that surprise and delight. Know our beer and food menus—their flavor profiles, ingredients, and stories—so our guests leave feeling informed and inspired. Embraces cross-training and is open to learning all aspects of taproom operations. Is eager to participate in food and beer sensory training to enhance product knowledge. Handle guest concerns or feedback with empathy and grace, seeing our challenges as a chance to elevate the experience and turn a moment around. Represent Lawson's Finest Liquids proudly, both inside and outside the taproom, as an ambassador of our values and our vibrant, welcoming culture. Succeed:
Based in our Waitsfield, Vermont Taproom Weekend Availability is Required Willingness to work holidays, nights and weekends as a regular work schedule Toast Point of Sale system knowledge and experience a plus, but not required Physically capable of a variety of duties including but not limited to repeated lifting of 30 pounds or more, and extended amounts of physical activity with prolonged standing Highly organized individual with attention to detail and effective communication skills Hospitality experience and strong guest-facing skills Craft beer knowledge preferred Must be 21 years or older
The Lawson's Package:
