Opportunities for Community Engagement Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Collect samples from concrete or aggregate plants Performs and records aggregate gradations Performs field tests for concrete performance Process samples using a variety of testing equipment and procedures Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material. Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions. Record data and enter information into computer systems Communicate with plant staff and customers Travel to and from various sites Performs general clean-up and maintenance duties as assigned Routinely assist other members of the work force in different areas of production Regular and timely attendance Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid driver's license required. No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no DUI's within the last year. Demonstrates proficiency in basic mathematics and proficiency in Microsoft & PC programs. Demonstrates excellent internal and external customer service skills. Ability to obtain A.C.I. Concrete Technician certification, Concrete Strength Testing certification, and all applicable WAQTC certifications. Must pass physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing. Per
