Job Type:

Temp-to-Hire - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, customer specifications, and technical requirements. Inspect products using manual precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, profilometers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specs, and orders. Document inspection results—accept/reject decisions, required rejection paperwork, and necessary MRP system updates. Perform specialized testing, including Rockwell hardness testing and Eddy Current testing, to determine product acceptance. Review and verify outside processing certifications (NDT, chemical processing, finishes) and ensure final product appearance meets engineering specifications.

Schedule:

1st shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay:

$22.00-$33.75 hourly

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on inspection experience in a regulated industry, including 2 recent years in aerospace. Proficient in engineering drawings and GD&T, demonstrated by passing advanced drawings and fluent-level GD&T tests. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional trade school or college coursework in blueprint reading or GD&T preferred.
