Job Description
Job Description The Quality Specialist's primary responsibility is to ensure all quality requirements are completed for MRO in accordance with FAA Part 145, EASA, and Company policies and procedures. He/ She is responsible for interpreting and advising on all regulatory requirements for the MRO and Manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Regulatory and Quality Management System
- Ensuring / Interpreting FAA, EASA, Company regulations/ policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensuring FAA and EASA Air Agency Certificate and Operational Specifications are accurate/current.
- Maintain the MRO drug program.
- Maintain all Repair Station manuals.
- Execution and submission of Malfunction and Defect Report when required per FAR 145
- Reporting Suspected Unapproved Parts to the FAA
- Review all product lines for Airworthiness Directives.
- Surveillance (audits) of Repair Station Policy and Procedures. Quality Control
- Ensuring all inspections are properly performed on all completed work subsequent to releasing the product for return to service.
- Initiating, directing, planning, and detailing the inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by the repair station in complying with FARs, manufacturer's recommendations.
- Assessment, supervision, and direction all personnel assigned to Repair Station Inspection/ Quality
- Ensure all Repair Station personnel are properly trained. Quality Assurance
- Analyzes and interprets quality data in order to develop methods, procedures, and systems to improve the Quality Assurance functions.
- Report quality performance, identify and address repeating issues (collective effort with other functions)
- Lead quality investigation (8D type) with the repair technicians and other required functions Calibration and ESD
- ESD Handling procedures
- Determination of Maintenance Test Equipment requirements.

- Experience supporting or participating in First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Comfort working in databases, calibration tools, or quality systems
- Experience working with offsite document storage solutions (e.g., Iron Mountain)
- Exposure to metrology databases or calibration tracking tools
- MetCal experience
- Aerospace Experience
