PrideStaff is seeking a highly skilled Quality CMM Inspector and Programmer/Operator to drive precision aerospace manufacturing for our premier client. This role is strictly hands-on, blending advanced CMM programming with rigorous first article inspection and complex GD&T application.

The Role Program & Operate:

Develop new CMM programs using CMM Manager Software and execute in-process and final inspections for machined, sheet metal, and assembled aerospace parts.

Quality & Compliance:

Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), prepare AS9102 Form 3 documents, and rigorously document production non-conformances.

Precision Metrology:

Utilize traditional measuring instrumentation (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) and Optical Comparators to verify exact specifications.

Technical Drafting & Blueprinting:

Interpret complex aerospace blueprints, create 2D bubble drawings, generate derivative drawings from 3D models, and verify CNC-generated models.

Data Management:

Compile Technical Data Packages (TDP) and review material certificates to ensure correct specs and revision levels.

What You Bring Industry Experience:

3+ years in aerospace Quality Inspection coupled with 3+ years of dedicated CMM programming and operating experience.

Regulatory Expertise:

Working knowledge of strict aerospace standards, including AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001, and ITAR regulations.

Technical Fluency:

High-level proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) and applying it to customer drawings, Catia, and Enovia specifications.

Software Skills:

Familiarity with CMM Manager Software, Discus, Enovia, Adobe Pro, and MS Office. (Experience with Infor Visual ERP is a bonus).

Core Attributes:

Exceptional attention to detail, strong inspection-related math skills, and the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Education:

High School Diploma required; industry-specific higher education or specialized on-the-job training is highly preferred.

Compensation & Perks Competitive Pay:

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience, with regular merit-based evaluations.
