Quality Control Inspector

Production Quality Control Yakima, WA About Us Illumiletter are custom sign manufacturing companies producing illuminated signs, channel letters, fabricated signage, vinyl graphics, routed products, and large custom sign projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Quality Control & Floor Expediter to help maintain quality standards, monitor active production, and improve accountability throughout the shop. This role is critical to reducing mistakes, improving efficiency, and ensuring projects leave the shop correctly built and ready for delivery. Position Summary The Production Quality Control & Floor Expediter is responsible for monitoring production activity throughout the shop and ensuring projects are being completed accurately, efficiently, and according to customer specifications. This person will actively move throughout the production floor checking projects in progress, verifying quality, confirming measurements and materials, recording production progress, and helping keep projects moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, assertive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Measurements Colors Materials LED colors Trim cap colors Paint quality Layout accuracy Overall workmanship Catch mistakes before projects move to the next stage Monitor active production throughout the shop Check in with employees regarding task progress Record production timing and workflow data Help maintain accountability and production pace Ensure jobs are completed according to customer specifications Assist with final production readiness checks Communicate quality concerns to department leads and project managers Help improve consistency and reduce costly production errors Qualifications Strong attention to detail Ability to read tape measures and verify dimensions accurately Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment Strong communication skills Ability to professionally address mistakes and quality concerns Manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or sign industry experience preferred Basic computer and spreadsheet skills preferred Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented Observant Assertive but professional Process-minded Self-motivated Able to maintain accountability on the shop floor Comfortable moving between departments throughout the day

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
