Job Description
Job Title:
QA Technician Job Description The QA Technician will be responsible for testing raw ingredients, in-process, and finished products at the facility. The technician will utilize general lab instrumentation and conduct wet chemistry analysis. Responsibilities include performing analyses for pH, solids, fats, moisture, and waste water, as well as conducting general wet chemistry and working with microbiological samples. Perform waste water analysis and general wet chemistry. Work with microbiological samples as needed. Essential Skills Knowledge in quality assurance and quality control. Proficiency in biology and lab testing. Understanding of HACCP principles. Experience with inspection and biology-related tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Degree in the Sciences with no prior experience or at least 1 year of quality/lab experience within the food industry. Work Environment The position is based in a microbiology and chemistry lab, with a weekend shift schedule: Friday 6 am- 2 pm, Saturday 6 am
- 6 pm, Sunday 6 am
- 6 pm, and Monday 6 am
- 2 pm. After 4-6 weeks, the schedule will change to working 36 hours per week, but compensation will be for 40 hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adell, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00
