Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspection & Fulfillment Technician to join our moccasin footwear manufacturing company in Berlin, Wisconsin. In this vital role, you will perform an inspection and finishing process on each pair of footwear, ensuring that all orders meet the quality standards our customers depend on. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills will contribute directly to our operational success. The Inspection & Finishing Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks at Russell Moccasin. This includes the application of leather protectant, burning loose threads, inspecting the inside of the pair, using equipment to affix studs, recording the inspection, including any defects noted, and boxing all pairs that pass inspection. Responsibilities Quality control inspection using a checklist Finishing processes (cleaning the sole, trimming loose ends, and conditioning the leather and sole) Operating equipment (occasional grinding and installing stud hooks) Final boxing and packaging Recording completed work This position is full-time or part-time, depending on your need and determined at the time of hire. The work week is Monday - Friday with no overtime. The job requires a blend of standing and sitting with some walking and moving about the room to move pairs of footwear and operate equipment as needed.

From $18.00 per hour
