Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shirt Presser to join our professional team. This role involves preparing garments with precision and care, ensuring high-quality finishing for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience in commercial laundry services, and a commitment to excellent customer service. This position involves standing at a workstation, preparing shirt cuffs and collars, and operating a shirt pressing unit. The work environment includes exposure to steam and requires standing for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodation. Duties Press and finish shirts and other garments using professional pressing equipment (Shirt Pressing unit) Ensure all garments meet quality standards before returning to customers Handle delicate fabrics with care to prevent damage Operate shirt press unit and related equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting, folding, steaming, and bagging garments Qualifications Prior experience in dry cleaning or commercial laundry is preferred Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and garment care techniques Strong attention to detail and quality control skills Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential This role is vital in delivering exceptional garment care and customer satisfaction. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday :
9 AM - 2:30 PM.
