Full Job Description Functions and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret complex project drawings and welding symbols Inspection tool usage: tape measure, caliper, pin gauges, protractor, thread gauges, radius gauges, height gauges, bore mics, ROMER arm Ability to work independently and train others Complete complex First Article Inspections (FAIs) Thorough knowledge of customers' requirements Thorough knowledge of GD&T Ability to answer questions from production floor Perform a variety of parts and product inspections to meet company and customer requirements Inspect incoming sub-out parts Document results of inspections Gather data and create reports for customers Communicate quality discrepancies to shop supervisors Validate material and process certifications, and inspection documentation Follow the Nonconforming Material process Use calibrated measuring equipment where applicable Follow all safety procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required Good verbal and written communication skills is required Minimum Requirements for
Education, Skillset, Qualifications, and Experience:
Must be a US Citizen GED/High School Diploma/Technical Degree 1-3 Years manufacturing experience 5+ Years inspection experience
