Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the products that DRM Industries releases are to customer specifications. They are responsible for streamlining communication from the Quality team to the Production floor. They are also a primary motivating factor for the team. They assist the Quality Assurance Manager and the Production Manager in quality assessment activities. They will take necessary action to minimize delays and support production. What You'll Do As a Quality Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet customer specifications and internal standards. You'll collaborate across departments, lead by example, and help train production staff on quality procedures. Key Responsibilities Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) Conduct product inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs Assist with internal audits, PPAP documentation, and statistical studies Maintain inspection records and identify potential trends Promote quality culture on the shop floor through training and leadership Support production efforts and contribute to continuous improvement Provide backup for 2nd shift Production Supervisor What We're Looking For 2+ years in manufacturing or quality assurance Experience in dimensional inspection and precision measurement Ability to interpret specifications and relay findings clearly Independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Previous leadership experience a plus High school diploma or equivalent Benefits DRM in an ESOP company = Employee Ownership = Real Stake inthe Company's Success Excellent Health, Dental, Life, Vision insurance Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays 401(k) with Company match Weekly incentive Bonus Shift 2nd shift
