Job Description
Job Overview The Sample Management / Laboratory Support Specialist is responsible for managing the receipt, handling, tracking, storage, and distribution of laboratory samples and standards while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and quality standards. This role supports laboratory operations by maintaining sample integrity, documenting activities, coordinating with laboratory personnel, and ensuring materials are processed accurately and efficiently throughout their lifecycle. Required Skills Sample accessioning, receiving, labeling, and tracking. Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) experience. Inventory management and documentation. Knowledge of laboratory SOPs, GLP, GMP, and GDP. Chain of custody documentation. Quality documentation including deviations and CAPA. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
