Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QC Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection, testing, and analysis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, uphold product integrity, and support our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Schedule:
3rd shift: 11:30 pm - 8am Full benefits package and PTO accrual after 60 days! No waiting period for paid holidays! Responsibilities Read a Batch Ticket to determine how to process order and fulfill color/customer requirements. Weigh up concentrate and make color chips by operating molding machine, roll mill, or press out machine Evaluate color and quality through use of visual assessment and/or the spectrophotometer, get second opinion (final auditor or manager) in cases of uncertainty. Discern color differences and adjust out of spec colors by using the spectrophotometer software, lab shots, historical corrections and experience. Fill out forms and maintain logs with accurate detail Maintain cleanliness and organization of work environment. Fill supplies as needed. Communicate necessary information with essential personnel
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform various tests as needed: FITR, melt-flow, ash test, moisture analysis, etc. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Work extended hours/weekends when assigned
Pay:
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
