Job Title:
Production Quality Inspector Job Description The Production Quality Inspector ensures that circuit boards and related electronic assemblies meet strict quality standards before they move to the next stage of production. This role uses computer-based work instructions and digital guidebooks to perform detailed inspections, identify defects, and support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Perform detailed quality assurance and quality control inspections on circuit boards and electronic products to ensure they meet established standards and customer requirements. Use computers to log into multiple programs simultaneously and access step-by-step digital instructions and guidebooks for each product and inspection process. Follow blueprints, customer instructions, and digital work instructions to complete quality checks accurately and consistently. Conduct repetitive, high-detail inspection work at a stationary workstation, maintaining focus and accuracy throughout the shift. Identify, document, and escalate quality issues or nonconformances to supervisors in a clear and timely manner. Participate in root cause discussions and problem-solving activities to help resolve recurring quality issues. Use basic hand tools and soldering tools when needed to inspect or verify assembly and solder quality. Work within a production and manufacturing environment to support general production activities such as assembly, picking, and packaging when required. Provide courteous and professional communication with team members and support staff, including basic customer service interactions as needed. Accurately record inspection results and maintain documentation in line with company quality procedures. Essential Skills Experience in production or manufacturing environments, particularly in quality control, quality assurance, or quality inspection. Ability to use basic computer programs daily and log into multiple systems at the same time to retrieve instructions and record results. Ability to read and follow blueprints, customer instructions, and digital guidebooks with high attention to detail. Comfort working with repetitive, high-detail inspection tasks at a stationary workstation. Strong interpersonal skills to escalate quality issues to supervisors and collaborate in root cause discussions. Capability to perform assembly-related tasks and use hand tools and soldering tools as needed. Demonstrated ability to perform general production activities such as picking and packaging when required. Why Work Here?
