2nd shift Quality Control Tech Create-A-Pack 20.00-24.00 United States, Wisconsin, Oconomowoc Jul 15, 2026 Create-A-Pack Foods is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician. Create-A-Pack Foods is a food co-packer and manufacturer located in beautiful Lake Country Wisconsin with locations in both Ixonia as well as Oconomowoc. Over the past 25 years, Create-A-Pack has grown from an entrepreneurial vision to a multimillion dollar operation that employs over 200 local employees. As we continue to grow, we are looking for hard working, reliable, and dedicated employees to join our team!
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains and reports product conformance to specifications through inspection of raw material, work in process and finished goods inventories. Reviews the production process for conformance to quality standards. Reports and tracks any significant deviations from quality standards. Recommends corrective action as necessary to management. Assists with GMP audits to ensure quality compliance. Performs line checks on a regular basis. Performs and documents a variety of laboratory tests. Maintains area in a clean, orderly and safe manner Responsible for following food quality and safety guidelines Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist Lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly and for sustained amounts of time Candidate must be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision Create-A-Pack Foods is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer - minority/female/disability/veteran.
