About the Role We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Specialist to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and excellence. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting tests, documenting results, and identifying areas for improvement, leveraging skills in quantitative analysis and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform rigorous qualitative and quantitative tests on in-process and finished products to verify adherence to quality specifications. Accurately document testing outcomes, noting any deviations or inconsistencies for further investigation. Proactively identify and isolate products that do not meet established quality benchmarks, preventing distribution of substandard goods. Assist in the precise batching of chemicals and ingredients essential for production processes. Maintain and calibrate laboratory and production line equipment to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of testing results. Uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality throughout the entire facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Participate in cross-functional teams, such as HACCP and Safety, to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve deficiencies and non-conformances, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production line. Qualifications Required Skills Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills Associate's Degree in a related field. Experience in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with HACCP principles.
