Job Description

About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will drive excellence by optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring product integrity through rigorous technical oversight. You will leverage your expertise in GD&T and process improvement to solve complex production challenges and foster a culture of continuous quality ownership. Responsibilities Lead structured problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions. Develop and maintain robust Control Plans and PFMEA documentation to mitigate production risks. Conduct comprehensive machine capability studies to drive process optimization and efficiency. Manage supplier quality performance by tracking resolutions and ensuring adherence to engineering standards. Oversee the procurement and calibration of essential inspection and testing instrumentation. Direct and mentor quality audit personnel to ensure consistent compliance with technical specifications. Facilitate the seamless integration of new product designs into existing manufacturing workflows. Promote a proactive quality-first mindset by empowering cross-functional teams to address issues at the source. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related manufacturing discipline. 2-4 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or process control. Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T standards. Strong grasp of quality methodologies including FMEA, process mapping, and control charts. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing. Advanced knowledge of Six Sigma principles and statistical analysis. Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, project-based environments. Experience within high-volume metal fabrication or machining sectors.
