About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will drive product excellence by ensuring seamless integration between design specifications and manufacturing processes. You will play a pivotal role in mitigating risk, optimizing production capability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Responsibilities Lead structured problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions. Develop and maintain robust Control Plans and PFMEA documentation to proactively manage process risks. Conduct detailed machine and process capability studies to drive operational efficiency and quality consistency. Oversee the resolution of supplier-related quality issues to ensure high-performance standards. Manage the procurement and implementation of essential inspection and testing instrumentation. Supervise quality audit teams to ensure strict adherence to engineering specifications and compliance standards. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure new product designs are fully optimized for manufacturing success. Champion a quality-first mindset by empowering team members to resolve issues directly at the source. Qualifications Required Skills Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings, including GD&T and product specifications. Demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, and other structured continuous improvement methodologies. Strong background in utilizing process capability studies and risk mitigation tools. Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related Manufacturing discipline. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field. 2-4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or control environments. Advanced knowledge of statistical process control, FMEA, and process mapping. Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, project-based team environments.
