Contract Duration:

Months Shift:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Description:
Chemistry degree or equivalent. 0-5 yrs experience. Ability and experience in a chemical laboratory environment. Attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. Good verbal and written communication. Experience working with emulsions would be a bonus. This position will assist in the preparation of test product batches at lab scale and then stability / performance testing using standard chemistry lab equipment. Follows generally prescribed procedures. Uses proper laboratory techniques. Maintains equipment. Keeps records of tests associated with batches or units. Performs general laboratory cleaning duties including washing equipment and other cleaning duties as assigned.
Skills:
Must have experience operating in a chemistry laboratory. Accurracy and attention to detail. The ability to meet deadlines. A methodical approach to work assignments. Good math skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in group situations. Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately. Ability to be observant, accurate, and capable of following directions.
Knowledge:
Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines.

Chemistry degree or equivalent
Additional Description of Requirement:
Entry level technician with school/professional experience working in a lab. Routine mixing of chemical ingredients to make product samples, and then testing of the batches made. We need this role to keep the Post Patent project on track with the first wave of products coming out of EPA and new ones needing to go in.
