Position Overview:
The Third Shift Quality Control Technician plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet Wisconsin Brewing Company's high standards for quality, consistency, and safety. This position involves conducting analytical testing, monitoring production processes, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced brewing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Conduct routine inspections and monitor production for adherence to quality specifications. Perform data entry to accurately record testing results and maintain quality records. Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and laboratory tools as needed. Assist in routine maintenance and calibration of quality control equipment. Communicate any quality issues or deviations to production and management promptly. Support production staff in resolving quality-related concerns. Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily work.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to perform precise measurements and follow standardized testing procedures. Basic mechanical skills to assist in equipment maintenance. Proficiency in data entry and basic computer software (e.g., spreadsheets, quality tracking systems). Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a brewery environment, including standing for extended periods and handling physical tasks. Capacity to lift 50lbs consistently.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., chemistry, biology, food science) preferred. Previous experience in quality control, laboratory work, or food/beverage manufacturing is an asset.

We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly facility, and we know that dogs are often considered part of the family. That's why leashed dogs are welcome in our Tap Room and Backyard Patio every day that we are open!
