Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to use PC Keyboard. Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including MS Office applications. Ability to follow direction and work independently. Be a role model for the organization setting the standard for productivity, safety, and quality for employees of different levels to follow. Job Duties and Responsibilities Timely completion of job functions. Authority to submit completed PPAP and FAI documentation to customer. Authority to pass/fail parts based on customer requirements. Understand the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives. Follow and execute AS9100 Quality system procedures including, instructions on job travelers control plan, and per AS9100 procedures. Possess an understanding of the customer's aesthetic requirements and apply these requirements in the visual inspection process. Conduct mechanical inspection of incoming, developmental, in-process, and finished components, as required. Review certificates of conformance for supplied material and create the same for Latitude products. Complete PPAP and FAI documentation in accordance with industry requirements. Complete inspection reports in accordance with organization, customer, and regulatory requirement. Calibrate measuring equipment in accordance with
ISO 10012.
Conduct production audits for the quality department. Operate CMM without assistance. Complete tasks independently as instructed by Quality Manager, Supervisor, or Team Lead. Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed. Work safely to ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures. Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department as well as other departments. Maintain neat and clean work area. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T. Ability to complete mechanical inspection of parts using basic measuring tools. Ability to complete visual inspection of parts with high attention to detail. Ability to complete timely and accurate inspection reports for review outside the organization. Ability to calibrate measuring equipment. Good organization skills and ability to multi-task and trouble shoot. Good computer skills, including knowledgeable in Office Suite of Microsoft-Word and Excel. Possess good math, writing, reading and communication skills. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in similar function. Must have one year experience in manufacturing sector operating Mitutoyo, or Zeiss CMM machines. Why Should You Choose Latitude Corp?
