Job Description

Job Description Quality Control Inspector is responsible for checking, verifying, and inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process and prior to shipping to ensure the highest level of satisfaction for our customers. Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during all stages of manufacture; Inspect incoming products and material for damage, defects, and compliance with prints; Keep record of inspections using inspection reports and other inspection documents per the customers and company standards; Ensure all products meet tolerance and quality standards prior to shipping; Promoting, contributing to, and supporting the Quality Management System; Communicating with production, estimation, and management personnel over quality concerns or non-conformances; Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests using appropriate metrology equipment and communicating required adjustments to production supervisor, document all findings; Extensive use of metrology equipment; Maintaining calibration of all quality equipment; Participate in customer and internal quality audits; Other duties related to our manufacturing and quality process. Duties, responsibilities, and expectations may be changed or modified at any time. Requirements Background in Quality Inspection, Mechanical Design, or related field; Reading and interpreting blueprints; Knowledge of using a variety of inspection equipment including tools, gages, surface plates and CMM software; Ability to interpret and apply GD&T; Verbal and written communication skills; Ability to frequently move around and lift up to 40 pounds; Strong work ethic, ability to be self-driven in a smaller work environment; Knowledge of precision manufacturing operations and knowledge of the systems necessary to maintain a high level of quality machined parts.
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
