Job Description

This position provides administrative assistance and facilitation in the conduct of a range of group and individual standardized testing, both automated and manual, administered through the Student Success Center. This position coordinates recruitment efforts for annual student bootcamps and participates in frequent workshops held by the Student Success Center for students in many different areas. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, classified position. Salary offer will be commensurate with education and experience.
Examples of Duties:
Administers and oversees tests according to strictly prescribed guidelines and standards; checks examinee identification and rosters, distributes test materials, and monitors the conduct of examinees Coordinates testing appointments and assigns proctor duties to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow while understanding the test proctoring processes, rules, and procedures Prepares and organizes testing materials in accordance with individual testing requirements and with established testing protocol and guidelines; develops seating plans, assigns proctoring duties, and prepares testing facilities Assists in the enforcement of test security policies and procedures before, during, and after testing Prepares all test material for shipment; verifies accuracy of test materials and prepares all associated documentation Provides general assistance to students in the Student Success Center Provides general administrative assistance, to include answering phone inquiries and provision of information and assistance to walk-in students Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate degree 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information, in written and oral format to students, faculty, and staff Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Effective organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Preferred Bachelor's degree
