$18-$20/hr What You'll Be Doing as an
Optics Technician:
Quality Assurance & Incoming Inspection:
Process and verify incoming products against specifications, conduct in-process quality checks following work instructions, and report any non-conforming materials or procedures.
Assembly:
Assemble and inspect electronic components for various products, ensuring strict adherence to ESD and FOD control procedures.
Packaging:
Perform final inspections, clean and polish finished products, and inspect packaging materials during packing, discarding any non-conforming materials.
Documentation:
Accurately record material consumption when closing Manufacturing Orders (MOs), verify lot numbers and labeling for correctness, and utilize Google Sheets to record data.
Work Environment:
Maintain clean and presentable workstations daily, service and maintain equipment, achieve daily throughput targets set by the lead, and conduct an end-of-week deep clean. Skills and Experience You'll Need as an
Optics Technician:
A perfectionist with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability and motivation to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with Optics and/or Electronics is preferred. Understanding and basic knowledge of precision Optics and accessories. Basic computer, problem solving, and time management skills. Prolonged periods of sitting Prolonged periods of looking through optics or optics testing equipment Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
