We are a high volume shop and sew hundreds to thousands of patches and shirts weekly. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines efficiently and accurately. Measure materials using measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions according to specifications. Handle fabric materials carefully, including manual cutting of fabrics when necessary, maintaining safety standards in production. Construct seams with proper seam construction techniques, ensuring durability and adherence to quality standards in production. Conduct dimensional measurements throughout the sewing process to verify consistency and quality of finished products. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workspace by following safety protocols during machine operation and materials handling. Perform quality checks on finished items, ensuring they meet established quality standards in production before packaging or delivery. Assist with fabric materials selection and preparation for sewing projects, including embroidery or upholstery work as needed. Experience Prior experience operating sewing machines such as industrial sewing machines or serging equipment is highly preferred. Knowledge of garment sewing, upholstery fabrication, or textile manufacturing is advantageous. Familiarity with measuring instruments and fabric materials enhances accuracy in production tasks. Understanding of quality standards in production ensures consistent delivery of high-quality products. Experience with manual cutting (fabric cutting) techniques is a plus for preparing materials efficiently. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments helps maintain a safe workspace for all team members. Basic skills in embroidery or seam construction can be beneficial but are not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
