Sewing Machine Operator

Responsibilities Operate various sewing machines to assemble a multitude of cemetery and funeral home products according to specifications and quality standards Set up and adjust sewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and stitch quality Monitor sewing processes continuously, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistency and efficiency Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with manufacturing guidelines Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve workflow processes Experience Prior experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly preferred but not required Ability to interpret technical instructions and work from detailed patterns or specifications Strong attention to detail, with an eye for quality control in garment production Experience working in fast-paced environments where efficiency and accuracy are essential Must be able to lift 10 lbs or more Must be able to be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
