Job Overview We are hiring for a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join a local manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and textile products. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, precise stitching, and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines with precision to assemble and finish garments or textile products according to specifications Follow detailed sewing instructions and work from patterns or templates to ensure consistency and quality Inspect finished products for defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies, making adjustments as necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for and functioning correctly Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Assist in material handling, including loading fabric rolls and managing inventory within the sewing area Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies during all phases of production Qualifications Proven experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing or garment construction environment Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and sewing processes Ability to interpret sewing patterns, instructions, and technical specifications accurately Familiarity with warehouse procedures related to material handling and inventory management is a plus Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks Prior experience in manufacturing or textile production is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
