We are currently seeking experienced and dependable Sewing Machine Operators for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience 2+ years operating industrial sewing machines and be able to produce quality products while maintaining a steady production pace.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to work cooperatively with others both within the department and externally. Technical knowledge of the processes and equipment with 3-5 years' related work experience in a manufacturing environment. High school or equivalent diploma is preferred. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to read work orders and patterns. Sew complete bag to customer specifications. Ability to solve problems using formalized problem-solving techniques. Ability to understand basic processes and methodically improve them. Ability to work a flexible schedule including mandatory overtime.
