Opportunity:

We are hiring a a reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant to support a fabrication and machining team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and grow their skills in machining and welding.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assist machinists, fabricators, and welders with daily tasks Load and unload materials, parts, and equipment Clean, prep, and organize work areas and shop tools Perform basic material handling and staging for production Assist with simple fabrication, grinding, and finishing tasks Support machine operators with setups and part handling Maintain a safe and clean work environment What makes you a great fit: Previous shop, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic instructions Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Why work with our client?
