Average Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with potential overtime after the regular shift and/or on Saturdays based on production needs.

As a sew Pull straps team member, you will play a vital role in the creation of boot making by carefully aligning and sewing pull straps. In this role you will work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that each pull strap is perfectly positioned, securely stitched, and meets Lucchese s quality standards.
Scope of job:
The sew Pull strap member is responsible for aligning and sewing the pull straps. They must also align parts to ensure proper assembly, sew pull straps into the lining, thread the machine, change needles, and adjust sewing machines as needed. They are responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines. Additionally, they must meet production goals in terms of speed, accuracy, and quantity, perform quality checks of the finished product, and report any issues regarding the sewing machines to the supervisor. The position also requires keeping the working area clean and always following safety guidelines and company standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
All responsibilities may be modified based on business needs. Read and interpret production tickets and work orders prior to assembling or stitching components. Select appropriate leather, thread color, and pull strap design per work order. Thread and prepare the sewing machine with the correct color configuration. Then sew pull strap on to the boot making sure it is aligned correctly onto the boot. When done sewing put completed pairs into bin for the next production process.
Perform basic preventative maintenance including:
Replacing needles Cleaning machine components Reporting machine issues Maintain accurate production records and report completed orders to team lead or Supervisor. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Support production goals while maintaining Lucchese quality standards. Comply with all safety, environmental, and company policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Quality & Production Expectations:
Meet daily production targets established by the department. Maintain high fast pass yield with minimal rework. Immediately escalate machine malfunctions or quality concerns to Supervisor. Demonstrate commitment to craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Required Skills/ Abilities Ability to read and interpret detailed work orders. Strong visual acuity to identify thread color variations and stitch defects. Good manual dexterity for threading and adjusting embroidery machines. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven manufacturing environment. Passion and desire for excellence by consistently exceeding quality expectations, Education, Experience, and/or Certifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Prior experience operating sewing machine or similar industrial equipment preferred. Experience in leather goods or boot manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit continuously for a minimum of eight - hour shifts. Frequent repetitive hand and finger movement. Ability to reach, bend, push, and pull. Ability to lift materials and boxes put to 15 pounds. Ability to maintain focus and precision during repetitive tasks. Ability to work in a production manufacturing environment.
