Job Description

Machine Operation - Operate industrial sewing machines (Juki, Consew, Singer, Pfaff, etc.) Set up and adjust machine tension, stitch length, and thread Change needles, bobbins, and thread as needed Perform routine machine maintenance Material Preparation Read work orders and sewing specifications Measure and cut material to required dimensions Align fabric or materials according to patterns Match material colors, grain direction, or orientation Assembly Sew fabric, vinyl, leather, insulation, or composite materials Join multiple material layers together Install zippers, Velcro, snaps, binding, or trim Reinforce seams and stress points Quality Inspection Inspect finished seams for quality and consistency Check stitch spacing and seam integrity Verify measurements meet specifications Repair or rework defective stitching Production Meet daily production quotas Follow standardized work instructions Maintain organized workstations Accurately record production data

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
