Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator specializing in vinyl materials to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality vinyl products, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in seam construction, fabric handling, and garment assembly will contribute to delivering durable and visually appealing finished goods. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines, including serging and embroidery equipment, to assemble vinyl products according to specifications. Measure materials accurately using measuring instruments and ensure dimensional measurements meet quality standards. Handle fabric materials carefully, performing manual cutting when necessary to prepare pieces for sewing. Construct seams with precision, ensuring seam strength and durability in accordance with garment construction standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering strictly to safety standards in production to prevent accidents. Inspect finished products for quality compliance, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards in production. Assist with materials handling within the warehouse or production area, ensuring proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods. Experience Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines, particularly with vinyl or upholstery fabrics. Familiarity with sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of measuring instruments, fabric materials, and seam construction techniques. Experience working with manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred. Understanding of safety standards in production settings and ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Prior involvement in garment sewing, upholstery projects, or manual fabric cutting is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet strict quality standards consistently.
