In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to assemble, sew, and finish high-quality fabric products. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet strict quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision, craftsmanship, and teamwork drive success. Duties Operate various industrial sewing machines, including sergers and embroidery machines, to produce garments and upholstery items according to specifications. Measure fabric materials and finished products using measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Construct seams with proper seam construction techniques, ensuring durability and quality of each product. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, including manual cutting of fabrics and materials handling. Follow quality standards in production by inspecting sewn items for defects, proper stitching, and adherence to design specifications. Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following safety standards in production, including proper machine operation and handling of sharp tools. Assist with fabric materials preparation and ensure correct placement of materials for sewing processes. Requirements Proven experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing or garment production setting. Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional measurements for quality control purposes. Familiarity with seam construction, garment sewing, serging, embroidery, and upholstery sewing techniques. Ability to handle fabric materials carefully while maintaining high-quality standards in production. Understanding of safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and injuries. Warehouse experience is preferred for efficient materials handling and inventory management. Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for precise sewing and cutting tasks.
