Full Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our team. This intermediate-level position involves working on moderately complex manufacturing tasks while gaining a solid understanding of general manufacturing processes. The role requires working on the first shift, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexible hours (early or late start) and weekends.
Position Duties:
Key responsibilities for the Manufacturing Associate include, but are not limited to: Tooling and masking parts Ultrasonic cleaning and washing of parts Intake and shipment of parts after processing Cutting stainless steel samples and preparing Labs sample Using Abrasive Wet Cutting Grinding and polishing samples Etching samples Performing other duties as assigned by the area supervisor, including rotating tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Forklift certification Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics Familiarity with tooling and masking parts Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to read, speak, and understand the language Experience with vacuum furnaces (heat treating furnaces) for ion nitriding is a plus Familiar with
Abrasive Wet Cutting Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment & Safety Equipment Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs Regular movement throughout the facility, including bending, reaching, and standing Required safety equipment includes safety glasses, shop coat/apron, and proper footwear Occasional exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
