Job Description

About this Role Asa CBRE Union Control Room Operator, you will play a vital role in monitoringcritical control systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating closely withHelp Desk, Engineering, and Facilities teams to ensure safe, reliable, andefficient operations across the region. The site is a 50k sq ft Chilled Water Plant in Quincy, MA for a multinationalfinancial services and bank holding company. Thisposition offers hands‑on problem solving, clear and structured procedures, andthe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast‑paced, high‑stakesenvironment where attention to detail and teamwork matter every day.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with flexibility to provide coverage forother shifts as needed. Thisrole is part of the Security and Fire job function, responsible forsafeguarding the organization's physical security, fire safety, and othercritical tangible assets.
What You'll Do:
Complywith all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and companydirectives related to system operations and work safety. Inspectsystems to ensure the operation of equipment achieves the operationalconditions prescribed by the client. Overseeincident work order development, work request initiation, and scheduling Respondquickly to emergency situations, summoning assistance as needed. Reviewassigned work orders. Estimate time, and resources, and order necessarymaterials to complete all repairs. Completeall required and assigned training at a satisfactory level. Participatein all related programs & activities as required. This includes incidentinvestigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment. Reportany conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and stopwork if required. Applyin-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures toaccomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coachothers and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledgeof several job disciplines within the function. Leadby example and model behaviors that are consistent with

values. Workto build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impacta range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within ownteam and other related teams. Workwithin broad guidelines and policies. Explaindifficult or sensitive information. What You'll Need HighSchool Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma Meetthe physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking,climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.or more. Abilityto exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Willingnessto take a new perspective on existing solutions. In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc. Organizationalskills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the Union position is $45.93 per hour.
