Toxic Blue Seal Refrigeration License InterAction24 is hiring an experienced Stationary Engineer for a large industrial food production facility in Linden, NJ. This is a hands-on role supporting plant utilities, refrigeration, steam, and facility systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed NJ Blue & Black Seal engineer who is comfortable working independently on night shift and thrives in a fast-paced plant environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems Maintain and monitor high-pressure steam boilers Support HVAC and plant utility systems Perform preventative and corrective maintenance Monitor system performance and provide real-time operational analysis Support emergency response and troubleshooting efforts Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Coordinate with facility leadership and maintenance teams to ensure uptime Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED NJ Blue Seal (Toxic-Refrigeration) License- Required NJ Black Seal (High Pressure Steam) License
- Required Experience operating ammonia refrigeration systems
- Preferred Experience with steam boiler systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and work orders Strong understanding of plant safety and regulatory compliance Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Experience in food manufacturing or industrial production environments Basic knowledge of PLC systems Experience with energy management systems Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
