Job Description

Job Summary We're currently hiring a Furnace Operator to join our industrial manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position perfect for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing demands. You'll be responsible for operating and monitoring high-temperature industrial furnaces that are essential to our production process, as well as handling materials using forklifts and loaders. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a physically active environment.
What You'll Do:
Operate and monitor industrial furnaces to meet production targets Operate forklifts and small wheel loaders to transport materials Load/unload materials into furnaces using appropriate tools and equipment Maintain proper temperature controls and monitor gauges, readouts, and alarms Record operational details accurately and apply critical thinking to achieve production goals Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Perform routine checks and report any mechanical issues Work closely with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent output Keep work area clean and organized
What We're Looking For:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 12 hour shift:
Week One:
Mon-Tues-Sat-Sun--- Week Two:
Wed-Thurs-Fri Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task Ability to follow assignments through to completion with minimal supervision Comfortable working in high-heat environments and around industrial machinery Conscientious, punctual, and dependable Must have reliable transportation Prior experience in furnace operation, forklifts, loaders, or heavy manufacturing preferred — but willing to train the right person Someone who works well in a group but can take initiative independently Willingness to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities as needed Physically able to lift, move, and stand for long periods Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
