Job Description
About the Role As a Stationary Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our high-pressure steam systems and power equipment. You will ensure operational continuity by monitoring complex machinery, performing precise chemical analysis, and executing proactive maintenance to support our heavy industrial production goals. Responsibilities Monitor and regulate high-pressure boilers, turbines, compressors, and pumps to ensure peak operational performance. Perform water chemistry analysis and adjust chemical levels to prevent system degradation and optimize steam quality. Conduct routine inspections of steam mains and condensation systems to identify and resolve potential mechanical issues before they impact production. Maintain accurate logs of system performance, equipment adjustments, and maintenance activities to ensure regulatory compliance. Manage inventory of essential replacement parts and water treatment chemicals to prevent operational downtime. Execute mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on power plant equipment to maintain system reliability. Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with industry standards and safety protocols. Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all industrial safety guidelines and utilizing required personal protective equipment. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in boiler operations or power plant maintenance. Valid State High Pressure Boiler Operator License. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb, and work in varied industrial environments including heights. Demonstrated proficiency in steam systems management and mechanical troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Experience working at heights of up to 100 feet. Advanced knowledge of industrial control systems and instrumentation. Proven track record of reliability and consistent attendance in a continuous-operation environment.
