May 15, 2026 : Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and licensed 1st Grade Boiler Operator/Stationary Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production equipment operates without downtime and that preventative maintenance is performed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Responsibilities Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, and examining the form and texture of parts. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts and using measuring instruments such as rules, calipers, and micrometers. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks. Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications
MUST HAVE
a 1st Grade Stationary Engineer License with the City of Houston. Shift Details
