Furnace Operator Job Responsibilities Exciting opportunity with SWARCO, an established +50-year-old Global Manufacturing Company located in Mexia, Texas. We are currently seeking a Furnace Operator to operate all furnace equipment efficiently. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to Furnace operation, machine operation, training, maintaining a clean and safe area of operation, and documentation of key production data. We are looking for someone willing to learn, lead a team, and has time management skills, and can contribute to creating a thriving team atmosphere within the SWARCO family. Ultimately, your role will be crucial in helping us achieve our production and profitability goals. Job Duties Operate all furnace equipment in a safe and efficient manner Repair and make adjustments to equipment as needed Document key production data and report to Supervisor Maintain a clean and safe work environment Participate in continuous improvement within production team Participate in all safety and plant meetings. Maintain production level and production quality of all products Communicate issues between shifts and with maintenance personnel Any other tasks deemed necessary by management Skills / Requirements High School diploma or GED Mechanical skills Forklift experience preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Willingness to learn and be helpful is a must Must be able to work in a hot environment
