Part Time | 24 hours per week Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tool Maker to support precision machining and tooling operations in a manufacturing environment. This part-time role is ideal for a skilled machinist or tool maker with strong blueprint reading abilities and experience working with tight tolerances and prototype tooling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with Engineering and Manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts and tooling Build, repair, and modify fixtures, tooling, prototype parts, and specialized equipment Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications Work with tight tolerances of ±.001 or closer Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and process improvements Select proper materials and machining methods for production requirements Support tool maintenance, shop organization, and safety practices Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Tool Design teams Maintain accurate calibration and ISO-related documentation Qualifications Minimum 4 years of Tool Maker or precision machining experience Strong understanding of machining principles, metallurgy, shop math, and metrology Experience working with prototype tooling and complex assemblies Skilled with precision measuring instruments and hand tools Ability to work independently and manage machining sequences efficiently Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ideal Candidate Experienced Tool Maker seeking flexible part-time work Comfortable working in a precision manufacturing environment Highly detail-oriented with a strong quality mindset Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented Employee Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance | Life Insurance | Short-term Disability | 401k Plans | Weekly Pay | Employee Discount Programs If you're still reading this ad, you must be interested!
