Job Description

About the Role As a Precision Tooling Specialist, you will be instrumental in the lifecycle of high-precision manufacturing components, from initial fabrication to ongoing maintenance. Your expertise in metal forming and die maintenance will directly impact our production efficiency and the overall quality of our output. Responsibilities Engineer and construct high-precision dies, fixtures, and tooling components to meet exact production requirements. Execute proactive maintenance and complex repairs on existing tooling to maximize operational uptime and component longevity. Partner with engineering teams to refine tool designs, driving continuous improvement in manufacturing throughput. Apply advanced machining expertise, including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM, to achieve tight tolerances. Validate tool performance through rigorous quality inspections, ensuring all components align with engineering specifications. Maintain comprehensive documentation of tool modifications and maintenance history to support long-term reliability. Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization to foster an efficient production environment. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in tool and die making within a manufacturing setting. Strong proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with metal stamping, progressive dies, and mold setup. Solid understanding of CNC operations and manual machining processes. Preferred Skills Technical degree or specialized certification in Toolmaking or a related mechanical trade. Proven track record of troubleshooting complex mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaborative skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to cross-functional teams.
