Manual Machinist / Tool & Die Machinist $35-$42 per hour | First Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Looking for a career where your machining skills are valued? Copper State Bolt & Nut is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist / Tool & Die Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. If you have experience with manual lathes and mills and enjoy precision machining, we'd like to hear from you. Tool & Die experience is preferred, but we are willing to train an experienced Manual Machinist who is eager to expand their skills. What You'll Do Set up and operate conventional manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, and other tool room equipment. Manufacture prototype and low-volume precision parts from blueprints and sketches. Maintain tight tolerances of ±.001" while producing high-quality components. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and other precision measuring tools. Repair, modify, and fabricate tooling to support manufacturing operations. Collaborate with production and engineering to solve machining challenges. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) experience is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For Experience operating manual lathes and mills. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. Strong understanding of machining practices and precision measurement. Experience holding close tolerances (±.001"). Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Tool & Die experience is preferred, but experienced manual machinists who want to learn are encouraged to apply. Why Copper State?
